My Christmas list last year worked out pretty well with the exception of my sister finding my blog (love you!) and using my Christmas list to communicate to me that she knew about my blog. I was just too dumb to see the connection until she had placed this in my stocking:
So if I could have anything, anything at all this year, here is what I would be asking for. This list far exceeds our budget but we could totally win the lottery before December 25th! Also, keep in mind my birthday is 3 days after Christmas so a combination gift is always welcomed.
Microsoft Surface Book 2- $1,200
This is my #1 item ask- the Micrsoft Surface Book 2. Specifically, here is the configuration I want: 256GB / Intel Core i7 / 8GB RAM.There are so many things I want to do for this blog but are hindered by the power of my current laptop. No fault of the laptop as I bought this thing 4 years ago; a year before my blog began. In Layman’s terms, I can edit videos and pics with this thing without it completely dyeing on me. I can use it as a laptop or a tablet. My husband also wants to have edited videos in the future of the boys’ soccer games so I would be able to do that too. I MUST GET THIS LAPTOP! I tried it out at Best Buy and my son had to pry me away from it. I was like a little kid that hits up the video game section, who wants “just 5 more minutes”.
Cricut Easy Press $150
I haven’t been blogging as much as I’ve had an instant business of making personalized glasses for co-workers. This is amazingly helpful considering I’m usually negative in my account for the entire month of December. That being said, I want to do more t-shirts but getting the heat on my iron right is a complete bitch. Obviously others struggled with this too so Cricut came up with this amazing gadget. It’s a home heat press that isn’t gargangous to look at and won’t break the bank!
So That’s It
That’s literally all I want (need) for Christmas. I’ve sat here trying to think of something else and there isn’t anything else I want. I’ve asked both my husband and sister for just $$ towards my laptop because that is all I want. Lame, I know. I’m a 41-year-old woman, soon to be 42. I don’t care about unwrapping 20 gifts anymore. I just want the laptop and watch my children unwrap their gifts. That’s not asking for too much, is it?
I’d love a new wig! But I’m going to save that for the spring after my tax return is back haha so I’m asking for like cooking things or a printer or gift cards for nail stuff or a running jacket.
My brother is so against the gift giving of Christmas but my mom will not let us move away from it. We’re gonna try for next year to maybe have a gift free Christmas. He would rather spend time with the family instead. Right now it’s basically a week of watching my moms tv shows and that’s it. Which I agree, is kind of lame. I bring board games and stuff for family time but that doesn’t always happen. Mostly just sitting on my laptop like I normally do at home
I can’t fathom a gift free Christmas. One year I felt generous and gave the money my husband would have spent on me to a needy family. But that was the last time. Horrible I know. That is pretty cool that your brother is so focused on family and would rather do that then gift giving. That’s what it’s supposed to be about but we’ve been trained differently. Anyway, I would love for you to get your new wig. Maybe it will be the like Christmas story and it will just suddenly turn up! Printers are pretty cheap right now, that should not be a problem! There’s a fantastic site I know of that uses recycled ink cartridges. Saves me a TON of money on ink. Let me know if you have need of it!
Oooh awesome for the ink! I’ll let you know when I need it!
And I can’t wait for my new wig! The one I have now I’ve been wearing for over three years and it’s getting ratty. But they are soooo expensive. You’ll have to blow up my Instagram when I post a picture of it when I eventually save up enough for it hehe
And I’m kind of the same with presents hehe I’d be sooo upset if I didn’t get a stocking for Christmas but big presents I could do without hehe but not for my birthday! Oh heaven help people if they forget my birthday lol
I hope Santa delivers for you this year! I’m asking for new snowboarding gear. I’ve had the same stuff for over 10 years now, and though most of it is still functional, there is very obvious wear to it. Fingers crossed! 🙂
Ohhh….I hope Santa gets that for you! I didn’t know you snowboard! Ok, I’m totally crossing my fingers for you!!!
For 12 years now! I grew up skateboarding so it was a fairly easy transition.
Wow! That’s pretty impressive!!
Since there’s really nothing I want this year I’m telling Santa my wishes for Christmas go to you.
That’s so sweet! Thank you!! I hope Santa brings you something special!
