My son brought home his adorable journal for the month of April. I always enjoy reading his entries because they are sweet and innocent…..
“I lost my tooth today. The tooth farey brought me 5 dolars!”
“My mommy was so proud of me I had 2 asist and 1 goll”
“My favrite food is stek. I would eat stek fourever!”
So this morning, C and I sat at the kitchen table going through each entry. As I read off each entry, I would look up at him and smile, completely melting before him with this adorableness.
About 7 pages in I flipped to the topic: Spend or Save. I couldn’t make out the drawing at first. I caulked my head to the left, similar to what I do when I’m trying to learn my other son’s 5th grade math. Then I realized what the drawing was. I starred at it in disbelief, trying to figure out how to tell him this image was not ideal….
Somewhat hard to see here but yes, he is making it rain. I was even more discouraged when he thought it would be cute to pretend he was making it rain. My son was making it rain at the kitchen table while I starred blankly at the drawing.
Yes, we are raising a pimp. All I have to say is, I am relieved there wasn’t a pole and/or stripper drawn.
