I’ve been one of millions fallen prey to curiosity and Pokemon GO. Since my son couldn’t get it to download on his phone, I agreed to download it on mine. This was mistake #1.
Mistake #2 is I also agreed to drive him around a 10 mile radius to catch, kill….whatever you are supposed to do, for the pokemon. Here are the places we have been to get these little bastards:
- Church 1 (twice)
- A gazebo in a local park
- Mc Donalds
- A neighborhood that wasn’t ours
- A golf course
- An apartment complex
- Sams Club (he began to go into the backroom until I explained to him this was not an authorized area)
- tire department
- frozen food section
- Church 2
- Church 3
Where I drew the line
- A pet cemetery
- A Catholic cemetery
- Another cemetery
- Behind a Speedway
I don’t understand why many of these spots are at churches? Even more confusing and on a disturbing level, the stops are sometimes at cemeteries. Yes, cemeteries. The app even shows an image of the cemetery or a marble sculpture you know is in the cemetery. I don’t know about you, but I’m not disrespecting someone’s grave just to catch a jigglypuff. What the hell?
Have you fallen prey to Pokemon GO? My kids need to get over this real quick or at least start chipping in some gas money.
Nope. He’s not into video games for
May he never like video games!!
