I have never kept this a secret but I despise, nay, loathe, the elf on the shelf. When I first started blogging, I even posted about this little ass hole. So why am I telling you this 3 months before he arrives with his creepy, stupid smile and gives spastic mothers something to do? Because I had an idea.
My sons are always excited to see where his felt ass has landed and what shenanigans he has gotten himself into. Well what if for once adults looked forward to his arrival?
“Hot Mess, how is he going to lug a bottle of cabernet into my living room with his tiny little straw-like arms?”
Oh gentle reader, I’m not the fairy winemother but I think I have a viable alternative but I need your help.
I am going to create scenes with the elf everyday up until Christmas, just for you. I will post them every morning so you can see what your silly little elf did. But I need your help! I need scene ideas! About 30 to be exact. To get your creative juices flowing, here are some inspirational scenes I personally created last year:
