I’m like a 90-year-old woman that doesn’t give 2 fucks anymore about what she writes. I’ve stayed away almost 90% from social media over the past year and just lived my life on the low-down. After rising from the ashes, I’m ready to fuck shit up. Not really. I just want to write unapologetically and not have a bunch of Karens or social justice warriors taunt me. Here I go.
So I just finished episode #2, season 9 of Queer Eye. If you’ve lived under a rock, Queer Eye is about 5 gay dudes that help a struggling person, regain control of their life and help them find their better self. It’s uplifting, entertaining and I smile anytime I watch the show. It’s legit, in my top 5.
But I’ve always struggled with something and to many, it might be super dumb. While the fab 5 are hanging out together, despite things are supposed to be platonic, there is A LOT of hands-on; if you know what I mean. As a human, I try to put myself in their place and ask….
‘What would I do if another woman placed her hand(s) on my lover’s leg?’
Answer: “I’d fuck shit up.”
This is an example of what I’m talking about. Again, I’m not being negative, I want to understand.
Anthony (left) has recently broken up with someone. The newest member of the Fab 5 (on the right) is married to Nate Berkus. Can we just all take a moment and honor how fabulous their house must be given both are interior designers? Sweet Jesus!
Anyway, if I were dating/married to someone and someone else put their hand on their leg like this, or vice versa, just know the rains of hell would fall upon you.
Hence why I’m trying to understand. This isn’t some dumb homophobic question. This is just me, and my upbringing about what is considered cheating/flirting and what isn’t. So please educate me on why behavior to the left would be cool for hedro or homo sexual….either brand. I’m not dogging on these 2 dudes because I love this show immensely, I’m just trying to understand.
P.S. As I drank wine while I watched the show, I came up with my next shirt: Drinking Wine and Watching Queer Eye.

Me too! It’s just simple, if you have a significant other, you don’t want another person (a very good looking person) hanging all over your significant other. IDGAF if you’re straight, gay, bi, etc. In my mind, it’s human nature.
