Hello folks and happy Tuesday! I would like to give you all a survey because I want to know more about you! I think this will be neat to learn about each other! I’ll answer the questions then you guys answer any or all of them in the comments. Read up on your fellow friends so you learn about them too! Here it goes!
- How old are you (you can totally lie if you want)? 40…and fabulous!
- Do you have kids? If so how many? If you don’t have kids, do you want them someday? 2 amazing boys!
- Favorite color? Pink
- Favorite movie? Step Brothers
- Favorite song? This is an extremely hard one. All time favorite song I think is Janet Jackson’s IF.
- Are you a morning person or a night owl? Honestly both.
- Where is the 1 place you wish to visit someday? Italy
- What game do you love to play? Cards Against Humanity
- What social media (if any) do you find most important for your blog? Right now I’m focusing my attentions on Pinterest as I’ve been reading it’s the most important
- What is your drink du choix? Cabernet Sauvignon. If I drink more than 1 mixed drink, I’ll have a hangover.
- What did you want to be when you grew up. Now that you’re grown up, what are you? I wanted to be an astronaut then as a tweener then a teenager, a Buyer and now I’m a Buyer. It’s not as glamorous as it was made out to be.
- Most famous person you’ve ever met? Don’t laugh, Randy Jackson. I didn’t have a sword for him to sign though.

- Favorite teacher and why? Madame Watson. She was my French teacher in high school and exuded everything I wanted to be at her age: classy, polished, expert in French, happy….and she drove my dream car. A red Jetta convertible with white interior. It will be mine someday…..someday it will be mine.
- How many fur babies do you have? What are their names? Chichi Barbados, still kickin’ at 658 years old.
- What is your favorite book? So she is in no way funny to me on her show but I think I’ve read (listened) all her books 3 times each. Chelsea Handler books are off the charts hilarious!!!

Shut up?!?! That is the #1 most annoying thing. Especially when I communicate with messenger, type out a 500 word rant, go to attach a picture for said rant and the picture deletes every f’ing word I just wrote. I’m sorry!

Most famous person you’ve ever met? Does a local news caster who’s girlfriend was shot on live tv count…? He’s a really nice guy.
Favorite teacher and why? Mr. Schimpf, my middle school band director. He was funny, wise (for a 26-29 year old teacher), and he was a great mentor. We would juggle together which was cool…

Well then, looks like we will have to play Monopoly in Italy!!! What is an NGO worker and who is Craig Keilburger?
Non-governmental organization (like amnesty international) and Craig Keilburger is the founder of “Free the Children” a Toronto based NGO, their current claim to fame is “Me to We Day” its super popular and from grade 9-when I graduated from university in 2010 I wanted to work for them. I got through 3 of their 4 rounds of interviews but didn’t get the job. But I’m glad I didn’t, it wasn’t what I wanted anymore.
Love this idea! Here are some answers from me –
1. 52, but with the maturity of a 5 year old.

12. Ellen DeGeneres. Although “meet” is a strong word – she was in Rockport, MA back when we lived there (circa 1999), and she walked past us. Hubby was pushing the stroller with the older two (youngest was still in my belly), and she said to him, “Cute kids!” I was walking with our dog Merlin, and she said to me, “Cute dog too!”

10. What is your drink du choix? Vodka is still my first love, but it’s socially unacceptable to drink it all day so… Red wine to the rescue!
11. What did you want to be when you grew up. Now that you’re grown up, what are you? I wanted to be a vet, then gave that up when everyone told me it was unrealistic. Picked it up again in my 20’s after I was tired of boring office work, but then life intervened again. So now I have aspirations of being a Writer… which is even more impractical
12. Most famous person you’ve ever met? Steve Jackson. He liked my pink hair. Oh, and I bumped into George Lucas at Disney World, and had to pull a paparazzi maneuver to get his photo (seriously, George, hiding behind a newspaper? Amateur.)
13. Favorite teacher and why? My high school chemistry teacher—whose name escapes me only because I’m old—was a standout, even in the excellent field of chemistry teachers. That man had never met a ceiling he wouldn’t scorch, had a prop for every point (the giant blueberry muffin was a favorite, mostly because of his Muffin Theory of Universal Oneness, in which he “proved” that all life was muffin-based) and wasn’t opposed to small(ish) explosions as a means of getting our attention.
14. How many fur babies do you have? Two greyhounds and two cats.
15. What is your favorite book? What is this, Sophie’s Choice? I refuse to answer, on the grounds that the books might see. I will say this: I don’t loan my books, because other people don’t treat them right. But there are a few books I’ll actually keep loaner copies of, just to give out to people who haven’t had the pleasure yet. Watership Down is one, Good Omens, Dirty Jobs, Alice by Christina Henry… see, even that list starts getting too long and rambl-y.
Your Pinterest comment stuck out. I just recently started going full throttle with Pinterest. I’ll be interested to see if I follow all the tips, if it will grow my blog. I love all your answers. They are sarcastic, funny and just the way I like it!
