How To See Who’s Viewed Your Facebook Page

Blogging Opinion

Admit it, we all want to know. We want the power to see who’s been stalking us on Facebook, but under no circumstances, do we want anyone else in the world to have these powers. This is why, a year or so ago I began to research ways you are supposed to know who’s checking you out. Facebook swears there is 0 way but as one of my co-workers said, of course they’re going to say there isn’t a way. On geeky chat sites, I’ve come across 2 methods. It’s now up to you to decide if this is legit or just a fool’s dream. So try it out and tell me if you think it’s the real deal.

Option 1

  1. Go on to your own Facebook page. Not your feed grandma, that’s your page.
  2. Right click with your mouse and select VIEW PAGE SOURCE. Another tab will come up.
  3. Once on this new page, click CTRL+F and enter INITIAL CHATS FRIENDS LIST.
  4. Your cursor will be taken to these words in the sea of code. Next to INITIAL CHATS FRIENDS LIST there will be a list of numbers. Each one of us are assigned a code and these numbers represent our code. Copy the first set of numbers.
  5. Go back on your Facebook page and remove your name after the \ and enter the set of numbers. Hit enter.
  6. Supposedly, that person is the last person that viewed your profile. You can repeat with the 2nd set of numbers, 3rd, etc.

Option 2

I think I believe this one more. Basically, if someone’s been trolling you but you aren’t friends with them, I hypothesize that Facebook’s uses it’s algorithm to place them in your “People You May Know.” Now maybe it’s because that person is friends with someone you are friends with but I don’t know. I’m just throwing it out there.

So what do you think? Did you try option 1? I have to admit, it’s intriguing! Happy stalking! Happy trolling!
